Arrow Purpose:
  Knowledge and compassion enable us to make sound choices in our actions. By planning and carrying out a Roots & Shoots service project, you will join thousands of other people around the world, working together to make a difference.
Arrow Activities:
 
  1. Define the word action.
  2. Click here to view Dr. Jane's scrapbook and see how other Roots & Shoots groups are working to make their community a better place for all of its inhabitants.
  3. Roots & Shoots Project
  4. Read the short story “Star Thrower” and reflect on the importance of action.
  5. Complete journal entry.
  6. Read the Earth Charter and find out how your project is helping to create a more sustainable world. Make a list of the Earth Charter principles that are linked to your project.
