Shoots: Into the Bay of Biscay
The last letter in this sequence, written on stationery provided by the S.S. Kenya Castle, was one of Jane's letters home on the three-week sailing voyage to Kenya Colony, East Africa. These letters were, as her mother, aunt, and grandmother declared in their own correspondences, "devoured, gobbled up and fallen upon by the family like a pack of hungry wolves."
Letter 6: March 1957, Age 22
